LAVRIO, Attica region, Greece

Lavrio is a resort village about 60 km southeast of Athens, located in a bay overlooking the island of Makronissos. It is in the southeastern part of Attica, just a 20-minute drive from Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport.
The marina in Lavrio – Olympic Marine is one of the largest and most modern ports in the Mediterranean.
Lavrio also attracts its tourists with the archeological sites nearby, such as: Torikos, Vravrona, Marathon and the ancient temple of Poseidon rising from Cape Sounion.
