NEA PLAGIA, CENTRAL HALKIDIKI

Nea Plagia is a small summer resort in the western part of the Halkidiki peninsula, located 45 km from Thessaloniki Airport and only 8 km from Nea Moudania – the commercial center of Kassandra.

 

The village of Nea Plagia is united with the neighboring village of Nea Flogita, as they are extremely close to each other and often tourists cannot understand when one village ends and the other begins. The two resorts also share a long, about 3 km sandy beach. The water is clean and shallow around the shore, which makes the place a favorite destination for families with children. On the side of Nea Flogita there is an amusement park suitable for all ages.

 

Nea Plagia has a long promenade, so you can reach on foot the beach of Paralia Dionisiou. Along the promenade you will find a range of cafes, taverns, supermarkets, bars and souvenir shops.

 

Nea Plagia Resort offers its visitors a large number of hotels, villas and guest houses with rooms and studios for rent.
