NEA VRASNA, GREECE – Calmness and harmony

Nea Vrasna is one of the main resort villages in Northern Greece, preferred by Bulgarians, Serbs and Romanians for summer vacation due to its proximity to the border. It is located on the northwest coast of the Gulf of Orphan (Aegean Macedonia) at the foot of the Bogdan Mountain. Another advantage of Nea Vrasna is that it is located only 80 km from Thessaloniki and Kavala, and only half a kilometer south is Asprovalta, which is considered one of the best summer destinations in Greece.
In the area of Nea Vrasna you will notice an incredible combination of nature – the greenery and coolness of the mountains and clear as a tear sea water, and the beautiful beaches in the area have been awarded the title of blue flag.

The beaches of Nea Vrasna

The beaches of Nea Vrasna and Asprovalta are very well organized and almost merged. The only difference is that the one in Nea Vrasna is a bit narrower, but also sandy and in places mixed with small stones. The beach is relatively deep as soon as you enter from the shore and is not very suitable for small children. Along the beach there are several restaurants that offer umbrellas and sunbeds but with consumption.

Near the coast there is a large alley with cafes, restaurants and various shops – for swimwear, clothes, souvenirs, restaurants – gyros, suflaki and mini markets, and the prices are quite reasonable. In the evenings you can relax with a wonderful walk along the promenade. Enjoying the white houses and carried away by the aromas of blooming magnolias, you will not feel how you will get to Asprovalta, as the distance is small and there is no empty area between them. To the delight of the youngest guests of the resort there is a large playground located next to a small park.
