PALIOURI, HALKIDIKI

Paliouri is a small resort village located in the southern part of Kassandra – the westernmost arm of the Halkidiki peninsula, and 120 km from Thessaloniki. Surrounded by olive groves, Paliouri is one of the most popular places of Halkidiki with its narrow streets leading to a charming small square surrounded by old houses and cafes.

In and around the village you can find camping, spas, hotels and taverns. In addition to beautiful pine forests and beautiful sheltered lagoons, Paliouri offers nightlife lovers various parties that take place in most beach bars.

Beaches in Paliouri, Halkidiki

In the bay near Paliouri and its neighboring village Pefkochori is one of the most captivating beaches of Kassandra – Xenia beach or also known as Chrousso. It is more than 1 kilometer long and definitely worth a visit. It is located only about 2 km from Paliouri and is extremely suitable for children due to its clean and shallow waters. The beach has fine sand and is well organized, there is also a free area.
The area is known for producing high quality olive oil and honey.
